Tried all possible online guidance, but still my Magic Keyboard 2 keeps on regularly disconnecting from my iMac, even while in use. Any ideas?

Try keeping it plugged in (i.e. charging) directly to the Mac and not a hub. I had the same issue and that fixed it.
What else on Bluetooth? And can you please post a snapshot of your Energy Saver Preferences please?
What else have you got connected on Bluetooth and USB?
nothing on usb, mouse on Bluetooth
i've tried that. does not help.

i've tried to re-pair the Keyboard.
i've deleted it from Bluetooth Preferences and now, while plugged in, it's still invisisble:
Check “Prevent” and uncheck “Wake”, might fix/improve.
