microsoft designer keyboard caps lock problem on m1 monterey
Hello i was using a Microsoft Designer Keyboard with Bluetooth fine with my Macbook Pro 2018 on Catalina. I switched to Macbook Pro 16 m1 with Monterey 12.2.1 and i have the following problem with the Caps Lock switching Languages.
I use the Caps lock to switch language and here is what i see:
1) I start by typing english: word
2) I click the caps lock to switch language and i type: ΣΟΡΔ (which does switch the language to greek but automatically buts it in caps!
3) I hit the caps lock again: word
4) i hit the caps lock again: ΣΟΡΔ (again it switches to greek but with capital letters)
5) i click then the caps lock for some seconds: ςορδ (it does switch to greek low caps)
When i use the normal macbook keyboard the sequence is normal
1) I start by typing english: word
2) I click the caps lock to switch language and i type: ςορδ (which does switch the language to greek and it works as it supposed to work)
3) I hit the caps lock again: word
4) i hit the caps lock again: ςορδ (works perfect)
It seems that there is some kind of delay when i type on the microsoft designer keyboard which didn't exist before on catalina.
The problem is that when i click CAPS LOCK on monterey macbook pro through the microsoft designer bluetooth keyboard it does the following:
1) normal low cap english
after click caps lock
2) CAPS GREEK
after click caps lock again
3) low cap english
after clicking caps lock again
4) CAPS GREEK
while we only want to click caps lock and switch language, not switch to caps at the same time with one caps lock click
Can i fix this somehow so the Microsoft Designer keyboard with bluetooth can work as it is supposed?
