Our Apple TV gives us an error message when we try to play LSU BASEBALL. 0066:Account not found for requested client IP.

it allow us to play other college baseball games. Thanks

I logged out of both my provider (Directv) and espn+ apps and logged back in and it cleared this problem. I have the premium package on Directv which includes the ACC, SEC etc channels..in case that matters.

On the ESPN app on apple tv there are 2 locations for “logging” in

cable tv provider. This is where i logged off and then back in.
ESPN plus - i just logged out and in

i changed my direct tv account password late 2021and i did not update it on the ESPN app cable provider on my apple tv until yesterday. I think this may have been causing the problem on my apple tv. I had changed the password on my computer and phone for the espn app so no problem there.

You will need a subscription to the service that is airing that particular game (possibly ESPN?). Then that app is doing the authentication. Only they can solve that, if you should have access but it doesn’t work.

That is helpful. I surmised after much trial and error that subscription could be the issue but it’s the SEC Subscription not ESPN as we have that. Not sure why the Apple Box couldn’t indicate that rather than response was Error 066;

i tried adding the SEC subscription yesterday but Apple Box does not have an option for selecting the SEC. Subscription at least I could not locate it.
