FCPx Stereo/Dual Mono dropdown missing

Hello!

The option to change this clip from Stereo to Dual Mono seems to be missing here on FCPx 10.4.4.

Im used to seeing a drop down where the arrow is pointing.

What am I doing wrong?

Equalization disappeared? Working with GH6 (stereo audio). If I have a straight audio track (non GH6) I see my 'Equalization' in the audio inspector. And .... When I'm working with my GH6 clips ... there is no 'Equalization' option in the inspector. I notice I'm also having issues with the stereo audio (recorded to the GH6 with a stereo Audio Technica mic). When the audio comes in with the GH6 clips (ProRes) I have set the Audio Configuration to 'Stereo' after the fact. It doesn't automatically come in stereo. I'm not sure I'm setting it properly in the inspector. In some clips I have better stereo, and in some clips it's almost as if the stereo has been centred, sounding virtually mono. Maybe I should be asking: "What is the correct protocol when working with GH6 clips coming into FCPX?" My missing 'Equalization' ... GH6 clip with 'stereo' audio Non GH6 stereo clip - Equalization back.

Changing stereo to dual mono? Working on a multicam clip. I recently did a project where I was able to split a stereo to dual mono. This was a conference, two speakers with separate mics; I needed to be able to cancel the 2nd speaker when he wasn't talking. There was a drop down menu (when that track was highlighted) to choose 'dual mono'. Worked out just fine. New project. I got the main audio feed from the conference producers. The .AIFF file says it is stereo, though I'm only hearing what appears to be mono. It looks like the Inspector is telling me it's stereo. But I can't find the drop down menu that would allow me to split the stereo to 'dual mono', and separate the voices. Before I start messing around with Logic ... maybe someone can steer me straight here? See attached snapshot at what I'm seeing in the inspector ...

I can’t check it, but I think the problem is that this is a sync clip container. You have to go into the sync container and change the audio there.

Thanks. That did it, but I don't remember having to do that before.
