I cannot access my account from iTunes

When I open iTunes and ask to view my account it will not take my password. The password works for everything else including purchases through iTunes. On my iPhone 13 I can open Subscriptions but not Media and Purchases. The later requires my password and just like the computer every time I enter it it says it does not recognize it. I end up in a never ending loop. I called Apple Support and 2 hours later and numerous password changes and shutting down everything and rebooting and they too could not fix the issue. Help!

It appears to me to be something that Apple will have to fix. I have the same problem using both Music(iTunes), and the App Store. I filed a Feedback Report. Here are other reports of the problem:

  1. Apple ID password not accepted in App Store.
  2. loop when signing in to Itunes & App Store.

Thanks. Same here. My iOS is up to date on my Mac desk top, my MacBook Air, my Apple Watch Series 7 and my new iPhone 13. I cannot get into the App store or iTunes on either computer and cannot access Media and Purchases on the iPhone as it puts me in the constant loop of not taking my password. I spent 2 hours with Apple Support and changed the password numerous times and rebooted everything numerous times. But reading these other comments that you gave me links to I have come to realize the issues is with Apple, even though the Support people advised there were no reports of issues on their end. Very frustrating. I did find some time consuming work arounds to view my account using my iPhone. Hopefully Apple will resolve. One person suggested rebooting the router and I will give that a try today. Again my sincere thanks.
