Where is the content?!

I have a usb stick called "my little usb"; under 'Get Info' it shows a capacity of 1.75GB, Available 835.4MB and Used as 917.7MB yet nothing shows in the content folder.

Why can't I see what is on the stick? Could the Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled) be anything of consequence?

Hi,

It could be firmware or sometimes manufacturers install other software which cannot be seen. Reformat the drive in Disk Utility (Mac OS Extended (Journaled) is good) and whatever space it gives you is all you can get. There's nothing else you can do.
