Is Apple Music on family sharing restricted by location?

I was on Apple Music (family sharing) and it was working until I moved from the country of the Organiser.

I asked to be taken out of the family and a new invitation be sent to me, which was done. I accepted and got a mail to confirm that I had joined the family.

Yet, Apple Music is not working and asking me to setup a subscription

Any help please?

Physical location does not affect Family Sharing, however the country or region set for your Apple ID does.


If you changed the country or region for your Apple ID when you moved, you would not have been able to join Family Sharing, much less access Apple Music.


If you have successfully joined the Family Group again and Apple Music is still not working, try signing out of your Apple ID and signing back in.
