In settings I can’t tap into my Apple ID nothing happens

I’ve transferred my iPhone 7SE to a iPhone SE2020 & all’s well so far as I know except my old texts didn’t transfer any ideas? They’re still on my old iPhone & need them ( at least some of them)….
Have you checked Settings/Screen Time for any restrictions?
