iPhone Truedepth Camera Is In Use By Another Application

If I turn on voice control, then open up the camera, I get the message: 'iPhone Truedepth Camera Is In Use By Another Application. Attention awareness is temporarily disabled.'

If I turn off voice control, the message goes away.

What is going on? It sounds like a warning, but is caused by a function within the iOS, I think.

No other apps are running, as far as I can tell.

Hi Lawrence Hammer,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. We see you're running into an alert about your camera when you open it with Voice Control on. We'd like to help out.

Are you running iOS 15.3.1? If not, we recommend backing up and update: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue persists, we recommend contacting Apple directly with this link: Get Support

Take care.
