How to remove app from Screen Recording in 10.15

Hi. I'm trying to remove an app from Screen Recording in 10.15.7 but I can't (Support-LogMeInRescueInstantChat.app). The app is not installed but the name continues on the screen recording list. I tried control+click to show in finder but since it's not on my computer, it can't be found. There are no plus/minus signs either on the screen recording window. The icon is a white generic one. I ask because I think this is what's holding this app from working on my computer.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Hey Otelina,

It appears that you've removed an app you were using, but you're still seeing vestiges of what it's left behind. You'd like to remove all remnants, and we're glad to provide assistance.

How do I uninstall the host for Mac manually? - Central Support -- LogMeIn has become GoTo! now and these are the steps that they've provided.

How do I contact Central support? - Central Support -- You can also contact GoTo! for help.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities!

I’m by no means an expert on this subject, but a couple of simple actions came to mind which I have stumbled upon in the past. However, if I’m mistaken, these dilemmas may have all been issues I resolved in Finder & not other areas like the Privacy tab within the Privacy & Security section of System Preferences. The simple actions are as follows: 1) Try to see if you are able to drag the remnant file out of the Screen Recording list & over to the trash bin or try right clicking on it to see if a pop-up action menu appears. 2) If you use an external hard drive, USB flash drive, or SD card; maybe it’s possible you had the app stored in one of these external storages and then deleted it but did not empty the trash bin before ejecting the external disc/drive. I’m guessing these probably are not the case in your issue but would be painless & simple to try.

Thanks SnickZ.

I tried "sudo /Library/Application\ Support/LogMeIn/uninstaller.sh" and it says "command not found".

I tried "/Library/Application Support/LogMeIn/bin/LogMeIn.app/Contents/Helpers/LogMeInserverctrl stop" and it says "no such file or directory: /Library/Application".

I tried "/bin/launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.logmein.logmeinserver.plist 2>/dev/null euid:0 uid:0

/bin/launchctl bsexec 68 chroot -u 501 -g 20 / /bin/launchctl unload -S Aqua /Library/LaunchAgents/com.logmein.logmeingui.plist 2>&1 euid:0 uid:0

/bin/launchctl bsexec 68 chroot -u 501 -g 20 / /bin/launchctl unload -S Aqua /Library/LaunchAgents/com.logmein.logmeinguiagent.plist 2>&1 euid:0 uid:0

/bin/launchctl unload -S LoginWindow /Library/LaunchAgents/com.logmein.logmeinguiagentatlogin.plist 2>/dev/null euid:0 uid:0" and some say "Operation not permitted".

I looked for all the components as per your link but there were none to be found. It's still there! I already tried GoTo but they couldn't help me. They suggested I post it here.
