I got a email saying my iPhone was hacked and they got a video of me and will forward it to my contacts if I don’t pay them thru bitcoin. Is this a common email I have heard about scamming but this is crazy in the email they hade my full name how did they get it any information would be greatly appreciated thank you

You were not hacked. This is a scam to scare you into paying a ransom. Do not reply to it. If you have not enabled 2 factor authentication, I would suggest that you do so.

They knew your name because it was obtained from one of the many websites that have been hacked over the years (LinkedIn, Yahoo, and soooooooo many more). The folks that hack those sites sell user information to other scammers. Those scammers then try to recoup their money by blackmailing unsuspecting users.
