Hairline crack on iPhone screen
Should I put a tempered glass screen saver OVER the screen that has the crack? Wouldn’t that protect it more?

Hmm, some people put a screen protector film over the screen to prevent scratches and dings. Do an on-line search for one that fits your phone. It is personal preference. See this for reference:
