Magic Mouse Loses Left and Right Movement

I have 7 Mac Pro's (the professional unit that people say looks like a cheese grater) at work and they all have the same mouse stutter, or the loss of movement left and right. I had a mouse replaced for one of the units. The problem is still there. I also own a 2 week old iMac (24", M1) that is also having the same issue. All computers are running the most current OS available from Apple. If 8 units are having the same problem, even with a mouse exchange which would make 9 mice in total, and the fact that 2 different models are involved, 1 being a professional unit, it boils down to a software glitch. When video editing is on a deadline, this mouse issue is truly problematic. It was also discovered that with the OS updates, both the Mac Pro's and the iMac will not eject and release a G-Technology external hard drive using a Thunderbolt 3 connection. Seagate drives do not have this problem. To release the drives you must either log out of your account or totally shut down the computer....another time waster. Apple, PLEASE, find the solutions.
