iPhone 13 Pro max doesn’t charge on Tesla Wireless Pad

so the issue is the alignment of wireless charging compared to the large phone and that apple doesn't center the wireless charging in the same way as tesla does so with large phone the two are offset. Easiest but most annoying solution is turn the phone upside down. Charging will work even thru a case. :)

Hmm, that would appear to be on Tesla. However, in any situation, a charging accessory should solve the problem. Start here:

I have a Tesla and use this Qi charger. It charges my iPhone 13 Pro just fine.

My 13 Pro Max works fine on my 2021 BMW X3 wireless charger. Perhaps it is a Tesla design flaw.

It sticks up that way due to the improved camera and trying to give better optical zoom and wide angle. I'm not certain Apple will change this anytime soon.

The original Tesla charging pad coils in my 2020 Tesla Model Y weren't large or strong enough to charge my iPhone 13 Pro Max whether or was right side up or up side down. I purchased the Jeda Model Y replacement charging pad (took 5 min to install) and now my Iphone charges with no issues using the clear MagSafe case. Both left, right and horizontal positions charge my iPhone. Since the Jeda wireless charging pad occupies two charging ports, recommend the Jeda hub to provide extra USBC and USBA connections.

I have an iPhone 12 pro max and it doesn’t work on my 2022 Tesla 3 Qi charger while in it’s case. It’s the size of the phone- it is too large to make contact with the charging pad. An iphone 12/13 pro works- it’s the pro max that does not. It is a Tesla design problem. They need to make the charging pad just a bit bigger so larger phones will be able to make contact without having to take the case off.

If I take the clear MagSafe case off, my 13 Pro Max charges. I believe when using a thin MagSafe clear case or any other case just makes the iPhone 13 Pro Max camera bump elevate even moreso and that's why the Tesla factory wireless charging pad doesn't work.

Prior to the iPhone 13 Pro Max I had a Samsung Galaxy S9+, the largest of their smartphones and had no issues using the Tesla factory wireless charging pad. It's the design of the *Camera Bump* on the iPhone's that make it problematic. If the iPhone 13 were flat, this would be a none issue.

Hey, try to put your iPhone 13 pro max on the right side wireless charger (passenger side). This works well for me (I have the leather MagSafe case by Apple). But I agree, it’s annoying to can’t charge on the driver side.

I'm unable to sync messages from my iPhone 13 Pro Max on my 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance? Are you having this issue as well?

Go to your settings in your iPhone 13 Pro Max, than go to notifications and than Tesla, at the top turn on *Allow Notifications* and it will allow you to sync messages!
