Old notifications coming back after being cleared
Hello,
I'm having this issue for more then 1 month now, which I saw people also had it a long time ago, last comments being in 2020 and for older iOS. Proposed solutions there did not help my case.
Problem - old notifications are coming back in the notifications center, even after clearing them or reading them from the apps itself.
Scenario A:
- Swipe down to see notification center.
- I see (e.g. Instagram app) 5 notifications from the app.
- I click on one notification and I'm going into the app.
- I read all other notification within the app and then leaving it. So at this stage it's obvious that I have read all notifications from that app and there shouldn't be any in the notification center.
- I open notification center and I see from those 5, only 1 (the one clicked) has been cleared and the other 4 notifications are still appearing in the list.
- Why?
Scenario B:
- Phone is locked and I'm looking at the notification center.
- I see 10 notifications from Outlook app (e.g.) and I swipe left to clear them all, one by one - not opening them, not unlocking the phone.
- Soon as I receive another e-mail and looking at the notification center (not unlocking the phone) - I see the new e-mail and the cleared ones too.
- Why should I see cleared notifications if I chose to clear them?
I'm using iPhone 13 Pro, iOS last updated 15.3.
I have tried the following and it didn't help:
a. I have restarted the phone.
b. I've done a RESET of all data and settings.
c. I've done a RESET of all network settings.
