IPhone 7 stopped to work in service after actualization 15.3.1

Hi! I performed a software actualization on may Iphone 7 ant it stopped working in service. After contacted apple support and authorized service the result of the case **** was to replace the device because is a chronic problem of some devices 01660. For my surprise, apple decide not replace because the product is from 2017 because the warranty was 4 years. How is possible? How could I know the product was doomed to make the replace before the warranty expired. Can anyone help reverse this decision? Thank you!
