Brightness issue with Iphone 13 pro max

My iphone’s brightness automatically goes down to near 50% from 100% some times. I have disabled auto brightness and still the brightness doesnt go up. It stays at 50%. Sometimes the brightness will automatically go up too.

No matter how often I do it, it keeps reverting back to about 50%. Brightness doesn’t increase past 50% Hi, I’m having an issue where I cannot seem to increase my display brightness past around 50% on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. When I manually use the brightness slider I can see it doesn’t improve brightness at all once it’s past 50%. I have tried turning off auto-brightness, True Tone, reduce white point, zoom filter etc. None of these methods have changed anything. I have tried the old trick of turning the phone off and on. This solves the problem for about 20 seconds after turning on, but then fades back down to 50% again (even though it still shows as full brightness on the slider). I haven’t tried resetting anything on my phone yet, as I would always rather avoid the hassle of doing so. Can anyone recommend an alternative solution before I resort to the resetting process? iPhone Brightness The brightness on my iPhone keeps growing darker then brighter and I can’t figure out why. It’s not changing like normal in a smooth motion such as automatic brightness tends to do, it changes like switching off a light. It’s nice and bright then BAM someone turned off the light inside my iPhone and it grew darker. Yet, the brightness scroller in the control center stays on high (100%) the whole time. And then after a while someone turns the lights back on inside my iPhone and I can see again. And it always changes like a flash. Never the nice fade automatic brightness has. Any suggestions in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.
