Returning an iPhone 13 to apple store

I want to change a one month old I phone 13 as I’m not happy with it . I want to change to an I phone 12

if I go to an apple store will they ‘ buy back’ my phone so I can buy a new iPhone 12

No. That makes no difference. The return period is 14 days. AppleCare+ gives you extended warranty coverage, not an extended return period.

If you're having a problem with it, make an appointment at the Genius Bar and have it serviced/replaced.

If I have apple care does that make a difference returning / excahanging phone after 14 day returns period ? I’m not happy with it because if the I phone 13 mic issues that are being reported on lots of apple forums

You had 14 days to return your phone for a full refund. At this time, you will need to sell the phone and then buy the phone you want. Apple will not buy it back now.
