Audio Ducking—Facetime

Hi!

Context: I am trying to determine how to remove audio ducking on FaceTime. While on a FaceTime with someone else, audio levels are significantly lower when audio is derived from other apps.

For example: I might be trying to listen to music in Apple Music, however on full volume I can hardly hear anything.

Previous Troubleshooting: I have tried going into the voiceover utility app and unchecking the "enable audio ducking" option, but this has not had any effect on the issue.

If someone could suggest another way to change these settings, that would be great!

If you've already gone through settings to attempt to adjust it, like in the guide linked below, and it still isn't working properly, we'd recommend reach out to our support teams.
