iPhone 7 app freezing

I have an app (Medical Appointments) that when started, completely freezes.

How can I unfreeze, hopefully without losing any data in the app 😩. Thank you.

App Won't Close My iPhone 11 Pro keeps freezing on an app and it won't let me close the app. This is also keeping me from powering off my phone. How do I fix this without having to wait until my phone actually dies to restart it.
