PLEASE HELP! External Hard Drive (Seagate) Custom Permission

I have an issue on my hard drive. At first, I could not transfer files from my Mac to the hard drive, I tried changing the permission but strangely it has Read and Write access on my administrator login but still could not transfer files. So I tried changing staff and everyone to read and write but I'm unable to. I get a pop up that says I have no permission.

So I formatted the drive on Disk Utility with ExFat option. Now when I go to 'Get Info" on the drive, I am not even asked my password. It opens and at the sharing and permission at the bottom, there is no read and write. All I see You Have Custom Access. Now I am able to transfer files but when I insect the drive inside my TV, tv says the drive is not on NFTS so I should format with pc. I think this is because of custom permission. Is there a way to change it back to read and write? Because it used to work perfect on tv when it was on read and write even though Mac could not put files on it.
