MacBook Air rubber seal around the screen

I have a MacBook Air and the rubber seal that goes around the screen fell off melted off I don’t know but I feel it’s a defect and the manufacturer should fix it

Light bleed around rubber seal on MacBook Pro 13" 2019 Had my MacBook Pro repaired twice by Apple, relating to different issues, one regarding marks appearing on the screen. They've replaced the screen, however I have noticed that light bleeds around the rubber seal on the screen, from what looks like a gap between the seal and the glass. Is this an issue that warrants a repair/ replacement or am I just being awkward? Never had this problem before my screen was replaced.

Rubber casing around Macbook Air M2 peeling off on its own. I purchased the Macbook Air M2 in August 2022, barely used it and yesterday a very minute part of the rubber enclosing the display came out on its own. There are no issues with the display/hardware/software etc. but if this continues then it might cause problems to my screen in the future. Apple support told me that and also that it comes under Cosmetic Damage. I haven't even touched the screen since it got delivered even by mistake and already it has come out. The device is brand new and under warranty. Will Apple repair it after physical inspection or not?

2017 MacBook Rubber Surrounding Screen Suddenly Melting Off Apparently this is called "reversion" and it just happened to my Macbook just when I was getting ready to trade it up for a new one. Is there a recall to fix this? The rubber surrounding my screen has melted all over the place and looks terrible. I haven't even taken this outside of my house really between being retired, disabled veteran and now COVID avoidance. Was going to send in for the ongoing keyboard malfunctions, maybe (they already replaced once for the keyboard malfunction). I am very disappointed in the Macbooks, must say. I have had Macs since 1992, should have stopped upgrading at my G4 cube.

If you still have a warranty on it. Make an appointment with the Genius Bar and take it in. If it's out of warranty. I don't know what to tell you.
