IOS 15 bcc cc email not working

Seems like many are having this issue, 15.3.1 still has this behavior.

Using Apple Mail on ipad air 2 and Iphone 8plus, I have always used BCC myself. It no longer works.

Well it works, I see the copy flash into my inbox then immediately disappear. You have to watch it happen, if you blink you will miss it. It’s like it is being swept by a filter but I have no filters.

Now I find if I CC myself the same thing happens. Happens with two different mail accounts. The test messages do appear in my sent folder and they do not appear in any trash or spam folders. It’s like Apple has decided that any mail sent to me from me needs to be exterminated.

Has anyone discovered a fix for this?
