Can’t mark AirPods Pro as lost

I’ve misplaced both of my AirPods Pro, I’m the case, fully charged. When I go into “Find My”, it doesn’t give me the option to “Activate” or “Mark as Lost”. I’m running iOS 15.1 - why don’t I have this feature? Thanks for any insight you have!

Thank for the reply! Yes, I have “Find My” set up and it works for all of my other devices. I understand that I can’t make them play a sound or find their location (which I thought I would be able to do when I bought them, so that’s kind of annoying), but other articles say I should be able to “Mark As Lost”, and I’m not getting that option.

Setting Up "Find My":

Was Find My set up correctly?

  1. Go Here: Find your Lost AirPods - Apple Support
  2. As it reads: "Find My is the only way that you can track or locate a lost or missing device. There is no other Apple service that can find, track, or otherwise flag your device for you. Learn how to set up Find My."
