how to transfer iTunes to a flash drive to play in your car

Does anyone have instructions how to transfer songs from a iTunes library to a flash drive to listen to your music in your vehicle? I read some articles about converting the files to MP3 and transferring them but is there software that needs to be installed to play the music files as well as converting?

If your library has non-protected files (purchased from an online Store or ripped from CD) just drag them to the flash drive.


Most car players can play AAC format, but if you absolutely must make MP3 versions, here are the steps:

Convert a song to a different file format with the Apple Music app or iTunes for Windows – Apple Support (UK)
