Macbook Showing Minimized Screens on Right Side of Dock

I read a question today about the Dock showing minimized screens in the dock to the right of the Downloads folder. After setting up my new Mac I noticed this issue and was not immediately certain how to fix. It took a lil while but this is the fix:

Open the Dock Preferences and check "Minimize Windows into the Application Icon"

This will place all open screens "behind" the application icon in the dock and NOT display each screen on the right side of the dock.
