Start with Clearing Space:

To Clear Space, Refer to the following...

Troubleshooting iPhone Storage:

Internal storage cannot be upgraded. It is what it is. So, the maximum internal storage capacity never increases, even if you upgraded your iCloud plan. Learn More here: What's the Difference Between Device Storage and iCloud Storage? Apple Support

So, what to do:

Clear Space:

Try clearing internal storage though use of the following:

What Space to Clear:

A. Clear Temporary Internet Files:

Clear your Temporary Internet Files(Cookies & Cache) of Safari:

Also...

B. Clean TV and Music Libraries:

Remove all unneeded files from your TV and Music Libraries. Full-Movies take up 2-4GB typically, and a bunch of those would take up a load of storage, ideally. So, if you have any movies that are not needed, then delete them.

Also..

C. Clear "Other":

Clear the storage named "Other". It basically contains unnecessary files such as caches that are used for system ease of use - all of which gather over time: How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tips. Caches would be being used for remembrance of application use. So, clearing other may be the way to go about this, as it would be performs through use of a computer.

Troubleshooting iCloud Photos:

I. There is no way to FORCE upload Photos to iCloud. If there are thousands to update, then not that it will take a long time to upload.

II. Syncing through iCloud:

Was Photos enabled in iCloud Settings on this iPhone you lost? If so, enable Photos in iCloud on your other Apple devices, and see if the data shows up. If your iPhone has items synced with iCloud on them, then they should pop right up.

Enabling iCloud Photos on an iPhone:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Photos (so that it is green)

III. iCloud+ Apple Plan and Pricing:

You only have 5GB free of iCloud. so, if that is not enough storage, then they simply will not go past that. So, consider upgrading your iCloud Storage:. Go Here: iCloud+ Plans and Pricing - Apple Support.  Scroll down to see your prices, and if it is a variable in your country/region.

IV. Other Things to Try:

A. Start here: If you're Missing Photos or Videos in the Photos app - Apple Support

B. Check iCloud, Directly:

Go here, and see if they reside in iCloud: https://www.icloud.com/photos

C. Where Else to Check:

  • PC
  • PDA
  • eMail
  • Mac Device
  • Cloud Storage
  • Android Phone
  • USB Flash Drive
  • External Hard drive
  • Secure Digital Card
  • Compact Flash Card

You are welcome. Peroxide Apple with feedback on this. Apple barely reads these forums as it is on their own time. So, they won’t know what is going on, unless you report it. The more feedback they receive on something, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what to include in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: here: Feedback - Apple Watch - Apple
