I need technical help.
My MacBook Air does not detect the Dell external monitor when I connect it through the Kensington USB 3.0 Dock but works when I connect it to the Mac directly. Have already updated the latest Displaylink driver.
The external USB Hard disks are working through the dock but not the monitor. What to do?

Yes, its Kensington Sv3500 USB 3.0 Superspeed Dock. It has a USB type A connector so I am using an Apple type C to the A adaptor. When I connect the Dell monitor directly to the Apple adaptor, it works fine however when I connect the monitor to the Dock, it does not work or even detect the external monitor.
The hard disks connected to the Kensington are working fine though.

From the spec, there is no mention of Mac support whatsoever:
What is your exact model of MacBook Air (can be found in he Apple menu "About this Mac").
Could you give an actual model number or page link?
