AirPods 3rd gen connects but not showing as an audio output device Windows 10

Greetings to all the great minds. I recently got the AirPods 3rd Generation. I have been able to connect and use it with both my Android 9 and 11 devices but can't seem to have it working on my windows 10 PC.

I get to search, pair and successfully connect to my AirPods but it doesn't show up as a Playback device. As such, I can't select it and make it my default audio device. I've tried right clicking in the Playback pane and showing disabled/hidden audio devices but nothing shows up. The AirPods doesn't just seem to have any audio drivers installed. In Device Manager, nothing of the AirPods shows up under Audio-inputs-and-outputs but I get to see AirPods under Bluetooth. Looking under Other-devices, I see a question mark on AAP Server.

Any suggestions on getting the AirPod 3rd generation as a Playback device on my Windows 10 pc will be very much appreciated. Thank you
