Can't find printer on network

"My MacBook Air has previously had zero problems connecting to the wireless printer on my network. However, one day randomly, the MBA was unable to find it. I've tried everything I can think of—reset the router, reset the PRAM, reset the SMC, reset the printing system, manually entering in the IP address—and nothing seems to work whatsoever. I know the issue is with my computer because all the other computers on the network have zero problem connecting to the printer. Any idea what is going on?

The above is an old post but I had the same problem and I believe it has to do with bonjour. I negelcted to set it up using bonjour because I am unfamiliar with it and do not know its affiliation with mac. My printer has the option to use bonjour but I never tried it. After a few changes to my router configuration and resetting, the printer was detected in setup installation helper under "bonjour-multifunction". I can't explain how exactly it worked but the bonjour thing was the main change I noticed when it worked.
