Chrome won't open gmail messages on iMac

Thx. I fixed the problem. Yes, safari worked just fine with gmail but I was wondering why this problem started only on Chrome and only with my iMac. My PC laptop worked fine. Turns out it was an ad blocker extension that was preventing messages from opening. I was able to tune the ad blocker to continue working but also allow gmail to work by adding google mail to it manually. That's the first time I've had a problem with Chrome and although I use both Safari and Chrome I like the navigation on Chrome better. But you're right, I've read some negative things about Chrome and probably should use it less. Thanks for your reply!
