Apple ID

I got a friends old phone. When I had wiped it out it kept there email meaning I am not able to update my apps without it asking me for there Apple ID password. I’ve tried many times to switch it to mine but it won’t and my apple store is logged in under my Apple ID

Delete and redownload the applications you're trying to update. The other Apple ID is stored inside them.
