My emails on my iphone work ok but my ipad has stopped and is asking for my imap password. I don’t remember it and am bothered that if I change it then my iohone emails won’t work either? any ideas??

Unless your email provider has a password recovery facility, you’ll have no alternative other than to reset your email password - and then update all your devices with your new email password.

If you have forgotten your password for your email then the best thing to do to get access back is to reset your password.

thank you…but as its my ipad thats asking for the password…would that affect my iphone as that is still getting emails??
