erasing MacBook for resale

I've done everything suggested but now have a folder with a question mark now on my screen. What do I do?

folder with question mark on screen I screwed up my Macbook Pro. Trying to reset the unit and I took the wrong approach. Now the screen shows a folder with a question mark and that's all is shows. Trip to an Apple store in my future? Thx!

You've successfully erased it, but haven't reinstalled the OS. Use the recovery system or Mac OS X install DVD as applicable.
