M1 Mac Mini HDMI out to input of LG 4K 23.7 inch (24MD4KL)

I have an M1 Mac Mini 2020

I want to go out of Mini’s HDMI port and into the USBC port on my LG 4K 23.7 inch (24MD4KL) USBC/Thunderbolt port (purchases from Apple).

Is this possible? What cables or adapters do I need to do it?

+1 No, that Display needs to be plugged directly into one of the Mac Mini's Thunderbolt ports.

The M1 Mac Mini only supports one display from a Thunderbolt port and one display from the HDMI port.

Have a look at > Connect a display to Mac mini - Apple Support

If you already have a display on the TB port and want a second, the second can be HDMI, DVI or VGA display.

(HDMI using an HDMI cable) (DVI using an HDMI to DVI adapter) (VGA using an HDMI to VGA adapter)
