Microsoft Remote Desktop cannot use multiple monitors without freezing

I have a 2015 MacBook Pro, and I use Microsoft Remote Desktop to work remotely on a Windows 10 Pro. It worked well until I updated to Monterey. Now using multiple monitors freezes one or more screens and I have to exit. Using one screen works, but a bit slower than before, and I need multiple monitors functioning well for work.
