Apple Remote Desktop, cannot control Monterey

I've just received a new MBP which runs Monterey (12.0.1). I run ARD from a Mac running Catalina (10.15.7). From the Catalina Mac, the new MBP is visible (ARD active it shows the correct active application), but controlling it doesn't work.

Anything I can do about that?

Duh. I already asked this about Big Sur a while ago and then I found out that a reboot fixed it. And now the same happens to me again.

Can I control a Big Sur device with Apple Remote Desktop?
