FaceTime Volume Low

FaceTime on iPad is stuck at a really low level, sliding volume up or down has no impact. I can barely hear the person I am calling. Using iPad OS 15.3.1, issue affected previous version too.

issue also occurs with zoom app, volume at low level and turning up or down has no impact

Good day to you SCon81,

For speaker volume issues, the following article goes through four troubleshooting steps that we’d like to have you visit - If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker.

You also mentioned the issue was happening on third-party video calling apps. Are you noticing low volume when watching a video via Safari or a video streaming app? That would take the testing outside of a call, which is why we ask.

Thanks.
