Apple ID "stuck" on old Apple ID in App Store

I am trying to update my apps on my iPhone 11 but for some reason it is asking me to sign in to an old (now defunct) Apple ID which my phone was at one point connected to. Everywhere I can find, in the general Settings and in the App Store itself, it is saying I am logged into my current Apple ID but for some reason, when updating Apps it won't let me through unless I use the old password.

I saw on a similar post that it said I need to delete all apps that were downloaded (or maybe purchased) using that old Apple ID but if it is things purchased how can I see that? I do not believe anything I have was previously purchased on that Apple ID and I thought everything that belonged to that Apple ID was purged when I disconnected the Apple ID in the first place.

I appreciate any leads

Delete and redownload the applications involved from your current account, or set up Family Sharing between the two, or contact the iTunes Store staff.

They aren't automatically deleted when signing out from the account.
