Why are some of my contact messages show up in green and other in blue? They always were in blue and I use to be able to see delivered when I sent a message and read when it was read. How do I get all of my contacts to show in blue with the delivered and read under the message?

True but not accurate ..Assuming both users have an iPhone .User needs to check if iMessage is activated on his phone …User can also check if he has allowed his mobile number to receive iMessages ,some users only allow iMessages from their Apple IDs not phone numbers ..

I think Messages in green were sent from an Android device, while messages in blue were sent from Apple devices
Messages on my iPhone 11 are showing in green
