Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter stopped working

I have now purchased a second Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter for my iPhone 13 because the first one I bought stopped working after a couple of weeks. I thought maybe the first one was defective, but now the second one stopped working after just a couple of days. I confirmed that the cable is working fine. Is this a common problem and can I return them?

You can bring the adapter to an Apple Store. Certainly if the issue was caused by a manufacturing defect, Apple warrants the product. But a more likely explanation is something else, especially given this happened with two different adapters. Perhaps, for example, you’re not plugging the adapter directly into a wall socket.

When I took one of my non-working wall chargers to the Apple store, I was told that since it was outside of the two-week exchange period, I had to make an appointment at the Genius Bar so they could test it with my device. Since I was from out of town, they took pity on me and got a manager to waive the requirement. Keeping fingers crossed that it continues to work.
