reminders disappeared after update

Today when I opened my phone, after an update, it asked if I wanted to update reminders to the newest version. I clicked yes and when it came back on all my reminders and lists were gone.

I logged into my icloud to screenshot them so I could replace them and it isn't allowing me access. It says "Reminders has stopped responding - an error has prevented this application from working properly . . . " under details it has: APP NAME - reminders2 and HOSTING APP NAME: cloudos2 - I did send the report to apple, but in the meantime, I would love to find my reminders again.

If I could remember them on m own, I wouldn't need reminders. :-)

Yes I have an iPad and the reminders have been removed from there as well.

In addition, I did follow the steps from the link you provided, to restore the reminders from iCloud, however when I get to step 2, which states “ go to Account Settings, then click Restore Calendars and Reminders” on my iCloud it only says restore calendars, reminders is not listed there.

Lastly, I did erase my phone and reinstall from the previous nights backup, when I still had reminders. When I first logged in the reminders were there and I felt relieved, however about 10 minutes later they disappeared again.

When I log into my icloud account, this is the error I'm getting for reminders:
