Why is T-Mobile saying my iPhone 12 Pro isn’t a 5G device?

So I recently switched Carriers from Verizon to T-Mobile and I’m in a 5G UltraWide area, but my phone isn’t getting 5G service, it’s only showing LTE; when talking to customer care they said that my iPhone 12 Pro isn’t 5G capable?? Any articles that could help me solve this problem or get to the issue

iPhone 13 models and iPhone 12 models work with the 5G cellular networks of certain carriers.

The list of supported carriers does include T-Mobile in the US. If your in Canada, they don't.
