Can I change the color of my iPhone through AppleCare+?

Can I change the color of my iPhone through Apple Care+? I'll be handing it in for repair soon, can I change the color from purple to white while I ask for it to be repaired?

Even if they replace it, the replacement device will be functionally identical, down to the model number (other than a slight modification to indicate a replacement).
