My friends left the war for the west of Ukraine as refugees. On the way, they stopped at my place in Kyiv and forgot their phone. I periodically contacted them on this phone, their acquaintances, friends and relatives also contact me on it, and I tell them a new contact number. Recently, the phone started to fail, and I reflashed it. After that, I can not use it - activation lock. Asking if possible to remove the activation lock is my only way to keep in touch with friends, and the only way to give their contacts to those who try to reach them.

If the car is needed for the needs of the army, the state will confiscate it free of charge. If a house or apartment is located in a war zone, residents can be evicted free of charge and the buildings can be used for the needs of the army. So both car keys and house keys can still be obtained in an emergency when it is vital. And you can’t get help from Apple in an emergency. You think that they are right to follow their rules only because they themselves have never been in a similar situation.

That is why I will never choose Apple for myself again, and I will recommend everyone I know to do so.
