Email extremely slow

I pad 5th Gen, unused space 70.65 gigs left . with 128 max.


After the last update, My email takes forever to load. I have a lot of space to use. Everything else loads a lighting speed as always.


Any help would be appreciated ..

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. First, restart your iPhone and test to see if refreshing is all that's needed. Restart your iPhone


Next, remove and re-add your email account. This will help isolate, if not resolve the problem.


"

  1. On your computer, sign in to your email provider’s website. Make sure that all of your email is there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device.
  2. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
  3. Tap the email account that you want to remove.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Add your account again."


If you can't receive email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
