Hi, Carlotta101,

If you're experiencing an HTTP error 403 when attempting to browse the web in Safari on your iPad, you can use the steps outlined in the Apple Support article If Safari displays a blank page or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support, detailed below, to troubleshoot:

Connect to a different network

Try to load a website, like www.apple.com, using cellular data. If you don't have cellular data, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network and then try loading the website.

Restart your device

Turn off your device and turn it on again. Here's how:

iPhone
iPad
iPod touch

Clear website data

You can clear website data occasionally to improve Safari performance. If you still need help, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > Safari.
2. Tap Clear History and Website data.
3. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.

Get more help

If the issue continues and only effects a certain website or webpage, contact the website developer for more help.

Should you still have trouble after performing those steps, feel free to respond back. If you do, please include the following information:

  1. What iPadOS version is installed on your iPad? You can find this under Settings > General > About.
  2. Does the issue occur with all websites, or just one in particular?
  3. Does the issue occur on multiple Wi-Fi networks as well as over cellular data?
  4. Does the issue occur no matter where you are located (example: At home, at work/school, a friend or family member's house)?
