'Unable to connect' issue

Hello everyone,

I have really tried to solve this problem alone but don't know the best direction to head in now - please help!

I get the 'unable to join the network' error message when I try to connect to ANY wi-fi network, but other devices can connect to those networks without any issue - so I am assuming that the issue is with my phone. Sometimes a longer error message pops up saying:

Unable to join the network "INSERT NETWORK NAME"

If your network security is managed by Wi-Fi address (also known as "MAC Address") you may need to turn off Private Wi-Fi Address or modify your network settings.

I have reset my network settings and done a factory reset on my home router. None of this has changed anything. I have tried turning the Wi-fi 'private address' off.

I cannot connect to any Wi-Fi network but Mobile data still works fine.

Please help, thank you.
