Deleted .docx file.

A .docx file was deleted during the reboot of my computer (MacOS 11.6.4). I cannot find it anywhere on the hard drive. Is there a way to retrive the document?

Restore it from your backup.

Files don't just disappear. Did you happen to enable iCloud and the file was moved to your iCloud drive? Did you look in the trash?
