I have a model A2379 iPad pro which won't charge. Cable is good and charger's are good, I checked them with another pad. The other iPad pro works great on all the same cords and chargers. The defective pad just does not charge.

Does my iPad pro need to go back to Apple for repair? It started off with intermittent charging then it has gone to no charge. I have tested several cords and charges that are know good with another iPad pro --- none of them will charge this pad.

iPad Pro 12.9-inch, 3rd Gen, Wi-Fi, Cell

Look for debris or fuzz jammed in the USB-C socket, and carefully and gently remove any found using a flexible and non-conductive tool such as a toothpick or plastic barrette. If there’s no debris and no fuzz, then yes, check with Apple Support as was mentioned in the reply above.
